Yikes, a whole entire month without a posting. But what a month it's been! It's a new year, a new decade, even a whole new century. And for those of you who have been following DWR you probably know that we've got a new CEO as well.
John Edelman joined Design Within Reach about 3 weeks ago as our new leader. I had the chance to meet him a few days ago and was immediately impressed with his energy and the dedication to his vision for DWR. His first steps have been to rally the Design Within Reach family and let us know what's in store for the future. (I can't tell you any details yet, but it's going to be great!)
To say that John is passionate about design would be a bit of an understatement. He maintains a massive collection of modern furniture (Milo Boughman is his favorite) and he speaks about the future of Design Within Reach in a very personal manner.
So keep your eyes peeled as the year unfolds. There will be lots of news coming: new product lines, new services, new colors, new catalogs! And I can't wait!
